Great source of information. The listing of names as opposed to just numbers gives more of a human face to it. I wonder if their descendants still live in the area?
In many cases they do, and have oral history to connect with these documents. :0)
wow, I am pleased to know the information shared, I am relative in the blige "blidge" family and know I can put a name to the plantation of Old man morris, if there is any other documents or info on the blidge in the are or proplerty please share. This is great work and a mile stone for me and my family. Thanks
There is a cemetery in the Strathy Hall subdivision located in Richmond Hill, Ga. Some of these old family names can be found on the grave markers. Some of their descendants still live in the area.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this Frank. Much appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Toni :0)
